Gardai have launched an investigation following the discovery of a man’s body in Cork earlier today.
The body, believed to be that of a male in his 30s, was found near the entrance to Merchant’s Quay car park on Parnell Place on Wednesday morning.
The body was removed to CUH, where a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
