Gardai have launched a murder inquiry, after a man in his 30s died from stabbing injuries sustained at a party in Athy, Co. Kildare, on Halloween night.
The man, named as 34-year-old David Boland, is understood to have been assaulted during a row that broke out at a house party. He was rushed to hospital, but later died of his injuries.
No arrests have been made.
