Gardaí in Co Donegal have launched a murder investigation following the death of a Polish national in Letterkenny last week.
The investigation comes after the 36-year-old man named Sebastian Adamowicz, died as a result of injuries he sustained during an assault in the town on Thursday.
It is understood the investigation comes after a post mortem examination on Mr Adamowicz’s body found his death was caused by injury he sustained during the attack.
