Notorious drug dealer, John Gilligan, is returning to Ireland today for the funeral of his brother.
Gilligan’s brother died on Friday. He was never involved in criminal activity.
Gilligan has been hiding out in England after he made a midnight ferry getaway earlier this year when two serious threats were made on his life, the second almost fatal.
Gilligan, now a ‘free man’, says he has no quarrels with anyone and just wants to visit Ireland for a couple of days are return back to England.
Gardai are said to be on high alert until his return back to England.
