Gardai are questioning a 16-year-old in relation to an alleged assault on a paramedic in Mahon, Cork, overnight.
It is understood that a paramedic was attacked with a knife while attending a call out. The victim sustained slight injuries and was taken to hospital, but has since been discharged.
Gardai are investigating the matter.
