Gardaí have confirmed that they have questioned a total of 36 people in relation to prostitution.
It is understood the 36 people were questioned after Gardai made raids across Dublin, Louth, Kildare and Wexford.
Gardaí say the operation which occurred across the weekend, saw all of the above questioned in relation to the purchase of sexual services.
They adedd that the operation targeting a number of issues including prostitution and human trafficking.
It is understood files relating to all cases are being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
