Gardai and school staff have issued a recommendation for parents to be vigilant after an incident near Holy Family School in Balloonagh, Co. Kerry.
A man and a woman in a black Renault Megane reportedly approached two children outside the school on Friday last.
The children reported the matter to school staff, who in turn called Gardai.
The school sent a letter to parents warning them of the suspicious approach, and Gardai are now examining CCTV footage of the area.
