Gardai reissue appeal for social media sharing of Diarmuid Twomey who is missing from Cork since Sunday December 20th




Gardaí in Co Cork have renewed their appeal for information in order to trace the whereabouts of a missing man Diarmuid Twomey from Cork.

Mr Twomey aged 31 was reportedly last seen at approximately 3am on Sunday December 20th, near Fairhill, Gurranabraher. Gardaí have become more concerned for Mr Twomey’s welfare after his phone was later recovered outside at house at Ballynahina, Cork later that morning at approximately 11.30am. Mr Twomey is described as being 6 foot in height, of stocky build, with dark brown hair. When he was last seen Mr Twomey was wearing a blue check shirt, beige chinos and brown runners.

Gardaí say they are deeply concerned for Mr Twomey’s safety and are appealing to anyone with information to contact them at Gurranabraher Garda station.
