The M3 motorway is currently closed both ways between Junction 6 Dunshaughlin and J7 Skyrne/Kilmessan following a major collision involving up to eight vehicles.
Emergency services, including six fire engines and the Garda helicopter, are currently at the scene, though no serious injuries are reported.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area if at all possible.
