Gardai say that they’ll do everything they can to find out what exactly happened in the murder of an inmate in Dublin’s Mountjoy Prison.
It’s understood that the beating only took a number of seconds but that the beaten was horrendous.
An inmate has passed away following a violent assault at Mountjoy Prison.
34-year-old Robert O’Connor died after sustaining serious injuries during an assault on Friday.
Mr. O’Connor had been in Mountjoy for only two days at the time of the incident.
