Gardai say they’re afraid they’re going to have a large number of calls over Easter

Gardai are saying that because of good weather forecast over the Easter bank holiday weekend that they’re going to have a large number of calls over the upcoming Easter weekend.

As the rest of us are looking forward to enjoying any dry weather that comes our way, gardai appear to hate the good weather during the pandemic as it’ll bring more people out and about.

As up to 14,000 gardai call for vaccination prioritisation, the force are saying that they’re afraid they’re going to receive a lot more calls over Easter due to house parties and the dry weather forecast.

Many on social media have been condemning the gardai of late for “pointless checkpoints” and that “they’re complaining about doing the job they signed up to do”.
