Gardai say they’ve arrested 76 people for breaking lockdown restrictions since April 8th

Gardai say they’ve had hundreds of thousands of interactions over the past number of weeks with the public and that the majority has been compliant.

However, between the 8th of April to the 25th of April they arrested 76 people who breached lockdown restrictions.

They say that they discovered 760 other offences during the lockdown and that 31 people coughed on and spat at gardai.

What’s not emphasised however is that anyone from the north can come into the south and have absolutely no backlash from the gardai.

Simon Harris signed the flawed legislation the first week of April.
