Gardaí say they’ve stepped up armed patrols in Dublin after Christmas Eve restaurant shooting




In Dublin, gardai have increased uniformed patrols following a Christmas Eve shooting at a restaurant, reports Breaking News.

At Browne’s Steakhouse in Blanchardstown at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, an incident involving a man in his 20s who died and a man in his 40s who was wounded is being treated for his wounds. Families were dining together at the crowded restaurant on Christmas Eve.

The forty-year-old male is still critically ill at Connolly Hospital, reports Breaking News.

It is known that gardaí are looking into the possibility that the deceased guy was tackled after being involved in the initial attack.

The Minister for Justice denounced the violence as “disgusting,” while the Taoiseach expressed his dismay at the incident, reports Breaking News.
