Gardaí say they have launched an appeal in order to find a man who is wanted by police in the UK in connection with rape, theft and assault allegations.
Gardai say Ryan Humpage (18) is currently on the run and is wanted by police in Lancashire, England. The news comes after police in the UK have issued statement on Crimewatch warning people of Mr Humpage’s violent past, Lancashire police say that Mr Humpage is known to travel around the UK and has friends in Belfast, Scotland, Blackpool, Northumbria and Northamptonshire.
Meanwhile Gardaí here have since discovered that Mr Humpage is known to have travelled to the Republic Of Ireland in recent weeks and was reportedly staying in Co. Kildare last week. It is also understood that Humpage has previously visited places across the country such as Co. Sligo, it is thought that Humpage maybe using various aliases, which include Dylan Dunne, Ryan Willington, Ryan Williams and Karl Ward.
