Gardai seized almost €36k worth of illegal fireworks in the run-up to Halloween.
A total of €35,490 worth of fireworks were taken off the streets as part of Operation Tombola, which targets the sale and distribution of fireworks across Ireland.
Gardai have reminded people that the possession, sale, or use of fireworks in Ireland is illegal.
