Gardai have seized an amount of cocaine and a sub-machine gun during a planned raid on an apartment in Castleknock, Dublin, today.
The operation was part of an ongoing investigation into organised crime.
A man in his 30s was arrested in connection with the incident, and is currently detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939 and investigations are continuing.
