Gardai have confirmed that they have seized over two thousand catalytic converters in Dublin.
It is understood that the converters worth an estimated €2.2m were seized during a search at a premises in Finglas.
Gardai say a vehicle and €75,000 in cash was also seized during the search.
They added that a man aged in his 20s was arrested in connection with the seizure.
