Gardai have seized a significant amount of drugs at the Electric Picnic site, mere minutes after the festival officially opened its doors.
The drugs include quantities of cocaine, ketamine, LSD, and MDMA.
Àuthorities are hoping to keep Electric Picnic drug-free this year, after a spike in the number of drug-related deaths at festivals in the UK and elsewhere in recent weeks.
