Former Pesident of the United States, George W Bush has said that borders are not imaginary and that border lines must be respected by all.
The 44th President of the United States weighed in on the contentious immigration debate that has grabbed America by storm since President Donald Trump has been elected.
The former Republican President suggested that Americans should find a very common ground in the middle in order to break the current political deadlock on whether a border wall will be built on the southern border.
Bush said:
“It starts with recognising a plain responsibility at the border and, in an often chaotic situation, being willing to state the obvious. Borders are not arbitrary and they need to be respected, along with the fine men and women of immigration services and are Border Patrol.”
