German prosecutors have confirmed that an incident on Berlin motorway in which an Iraqi migrant intentionally drove his car into several other vehicles was an Islamic terror attack.
The 30-year-old Iraqi migrant injured Six people in total were injured with three being severely wounded in the Muslim terrorist’s vehicular attack.
The attack took place on Tuesday evening just before 7pm during rush hour and led to a complete closure of one of the city’s main traffic highways.
Local media reported that the man later stopped on the highway and put a box on the roof of his car claiming it had explosives inside. Specialists opened the box and found only tools.
A Berlin daily periodical Tagesspiegel reported that terrorist took out a prayer mat and began praying the typical Islamic fashion after his third attack before he was arrested.
Europe has seen numerous Muslim terrorist attacks using vehicles as weapons in recent years with Berlin suffering an Islamist atrocity in December 2016 when a Tunisian migrant killed 12 people and injured 49 in a truck attack on a Christmas market.
