A German lady knitted 100 woolly hats and donated them to the Simon Community in Ireland.
The lady, named Doris Brandt, knew of the dire homeless situation in Ireland through a friend of hers, whose daughter works in Dublin.
Brandt then went to work on the hats and sent them on to the charity here in Ireland.
The Simon Community issued a note to thank her for such generous and kind act.
