Police have confirmed that a one-year-old girl is serious condition in hospital after being bitten by a dog in Derbyshire.
According to Sky News, the infant was taken to hospital after suffering serious injuries following the attack which occurred in Beech Avenue, Long Eaton on Tuesday evening.
Police say the dog has since been seized and an investigation is currently ongoing.
