Between Storm Ciara and Storm Dennis, Valentine’s Day looks like an absolute washout.
Weather forecasters in both Ireland and the UK are predicting another weekend of weather misery as Storm Dennis approaches, bringing heavy rains and strong winds along.
The extreme weather is currently moving eastwards across the Atlantic, and it’s expected to hit Ireland towards Friday evening and the UK on Saturday morning.
The outlook is for a very blustery and wet Saturday as the storm sweeps across the Emerald Isle, and Sunday probably won’t fare that much better, as heavy showers are expected throughout the afternoon and early evening.
The UK’s meteorological service marked Storm Dennis as a ‘danger to life’ weather system.
