Police in the North have launched an investigation after a 13-year-old was critically injured following an attack at a house in Co Fermanagh.
It is understood the girl sustained stab wounds when a group of men armed with machetes broke into a house on Trasna Way, in Lisnaskea, at approximately 9pm on Saturday night.
Police investigating the incident say the girl currently remains in critical but stable condition in hospital.
They added that a woman aged in her 40s was also injured in the attack after sustaining stab wounds to her leg.
