Drogheda native Micky Dunne had a day off yesterday and decided to make use of his time by taking out green, white and orange and painting his house in the tricolour.
The house located in the Yellowbatter area of the town stands out with bunting flying from top to toe.
Micky told The Liberal:
“I’m a painter and had a day off so what better way to spend it? Myself and 7 mates are hitting France on Sunday morning for a week and the first 2 games.”
He’s optimistic about our chances in France:
“I really think Ireland will make it out of the group. And on a one off game we can beat anyone. As they showed against Germany. Come on you boys in green??????☘☘☘”
Ireland take on Sweden on Monday evening, coverage is on RTE 2.
