Three people are confirmed dead after a man went on a stabbing rampage around Glasgow city centre earlier today.
The incident began at the Park Inn Hotel on West George Street, at around 1.30pm.
Three people are now confirmed dead, and six others are being treated in hospital.
The suspect was shot dead by an armed police officer.
The Park Inn Hotel is closed for business but it’s currently being used to house asylum seekers.
According to local authorities, knife violence has been reported at the site before.
