Shopping centre operator Intu collapses into administration.
The firm owns and operates the Trafford Centre in Manchester, the Metrocentre in Gateshead, and Lakeside in Essex.
These sites will remain open and continue to trade for the time being.
A spokesperson has said that the Covid-19 pandemic is largely to blame for Intu’s collapse.
