Irish actor and director Dónall Farmer has passed away aged 81.
A Cork native, Mr. Farmer starred in TV series like Ballykissangel and Remington Steele, but was perhaps best known for his role as priest Fr Tim Devereux in the Irish soap Glenroe.
He is survived by his wife Eileen and children Orla, Catherine and Dónall.
