Ireland’s Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr Ronan Glynn has said that there’s now a deterioration of incidents across the country with covid cases growing in every county.
Dr Tony Holohan said that NPHET advises that people must cut their socialising in half and that small changes could make big differences.
90% of people over the age of 12 have been double vaccinated or have received their first vaccine.
Strikingly, no lockdowns have been ruled out at this stage but NPHET says they’re not considering increasing restrictions at this stage.
Further predictions for Christmas and early 2022 are due to be released next week.
