The airline has today announced a boost to its 2015 summer schedule from Shannon.
Speaking in Limerick this afternoon, Ryanair’s chief marketing officer Kenny Jacobs has announced that flights between Kaunas in Lithuania are to double in frequency, as are the year-round flights to the sun destination of Lanzarote.
The frequency of both services will increase from once- to twice-weekly.
There will also be additional services between Shannon and London Gatwick, and the summer flight to Memmingen, near Munich, will return for next summer’s season.
A very positive move for Ryanair, Shannon Airport, and the Irish tourism industry as a whole.
