A spokesman for the Department of Justice has refuted claims by some media outlets who claim that the Attorney General of the United States had said that the department had concluded its investigation into election fraud after finding no widespread evidence of such wrongdoing.

CBS news reported the statement of the DOJ which reads:

“Some media outlets have incorrectly reported that the Department has concluded its investigation of election fraud and announced an affirmative finding of no fraud in the election. That is not what the Associated Press reported nor what the Attorney General stated. The Department will continue to receive and vigorously pursue all specific and credible allegations of fraud as expeditiously as possible.”

Anti-Trump media outlets pounced on the announcement AG Bill Barr that no widespread evidence of voter fraud had yet been found to discredit President Trump’s legal team’s efforts to force investigations into fraud after hundreds of witnesses and experts gave sworn testimonies that fraud took place in the recent presidential election.

Curiously, many of the same media outlets ignored AG Barr’s remarks when he said affirmatively that there was no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
