Met Eireann is warning of a freezing night ahead, with temperatures sinking to -3C, and widespread fog banks.
The national forecaster has issued a Status Yellow warning for fog, which is likely to begin forming from around midnight.
Sunday is expected to remain very cold, with lingering fog patches, with some brief sunny spells throughout the day.
