There was good news late last night as Gardai in Drogheda confirmed that a local man who had been missing since June has been found safe and well.
The man in question Carl Thornton (41) was reported missing after he was not seen since he got on a bus at Drogheda Bus Station on the June 12th.
Gardaí released a brief statement last night thanking the public for their assistance on the matter and have now said the case is officially closed.
