A man is recovering in hospital this morning after he was rescued from the River Liffey in Dublin last night.
This understood that the man was found in distress in the river near Rosie Hackett Bridge by a tourist who was passing by, it is understood emergency services along with the Dublin Fire Brigade’s rescue boat arrived at the scene immediately were they carried out CPR.
The man was then taken to the Mater Hospital where he is understood to be currently receiving treatment.
