Good people of Oughterard stand firm against mass undocumented migration as thousands take to the streets

They’re going nowhere, the decent and honourable people of the small town of Oughterard, Co. Galway are fighting back and representing the majority of Ireland with their silent protest against an untold number of undocumented migrants flooding into their town.

The good people of Oughterard, Co. Galway came out in their droves today to do their best by representing thousands of others around Ireland in an effort to fend off an influx of undocumented migrants into their land.

Over 2,000 people came out in force on the Main Street in Oughterard, Co Galway, to fight back against the possible opening of Direct Provision Centre in the area.

This is the second major silent protest in the area in recent weeks with more planned until the government get the message.

An unknown number of undocumented migrants are due to be planted in the area after the government completely ignored the wishes of the good people of Oughterard.

Major legitimate concerns have grown in recent weeks about the possibility of a provision centre in the region, with locals terrified they could be inundated with migrants from anywhere and not knowing anything about their potential criminal backgrounds.

The silent protest was held as there are not enough resources in the region to house a Direct Provision Centre.

The latest developments come after 500 people attended a local community meeting to voice their concerns.

However despite the protest, the Department of Justice have yet to confirm whether or not they are to place a centre in the region. Watch the video below, share it and tell us your thoughts in the Facebook post.
