Ireland may feel the effects of a full-blown hurricane this week, as Lorenzo -a Category 5 storm- is hurtling our way.

Lorenzo brings savage and destructive winds of up to 250km/h. According to the National Hurricane Center, the weather front is the strongest ever hurricane recorded in such eastern latitudes over the Atlantic.

Wind speed will begin picking up towards Tuesday evening.
