The Government have approved new legislation that will give legal clarity over outdoor dining and drinking.
It is understood that Cabinet approved changes to the current legislation following a meeting on Monday.
Under the new legislation restaurants and pubs will be legally allowed to have outdoor dining and drinking areas.
The new legislation is expected to run until November and can be further extended by the Government.
