The government believe that there will be 10 to 15,000 people being tested daily for coronavirus starting from today.
The HSE say that they expect tests to be extremely ramped up now especially with people being able to go to drive through testing.
We got quite a slight reprieve yesterday as there were 74 cases, roughly 15 or so less than what health experts were expecting.
There are now a total of 366 cases in the Republic of Ireland with more updates as the day goes on.
