The Government have confirmed this evening that the wearing of face masks will be mandatory in all shops and other indoor public settings.
In a move that has been widely speculated in recent days the government confirmed that the measures will be introduced in the coming weeks.
Although no official guidelines have been set out it is expected that those who fail to comply with the guidelines will face fines.
