Homeless advocacy groups have once again slammed the Government over rising figures.
The latest criticism comes as it was revealed on Tuesday that there are currently 10,305 people homeless people living emergency accommodation.
According to latest figures published by the Department of Housing a further 41 people were made homeless in the month of March.
Although the Government have stated that the figure is only a slight increase, homeless advocacy groups have said the current plan to provide more affordable and social housing isn’t working.
The latest figures are made all the more serious as 37 children have been made homeless last month leaving the overall figure at 3,821.
