Government fail to address almost 10,500 Irish people now homeless as they continue to do everything to house uncapped number of Ukrainians in Ireland

The government has been condemned for sweeping the homeless epidemic under the carpet yet again in favour of those who weren’t even born here but continue to pour into our shores.

In what can only be described as truly outrageous, the number of homeless people rose in June to 10,492 – an increase of 167 from March this year – according to the latest figures from the Department of Housing.

The number of homeless families also rose to 1,385 in June, an increase of 147 from the end of the first quarter of the year.

Commenting on the monthly and quarterly homelessness report, Housing Minister Darragh O’Brien said that the continued increase in access to emergency accommodation is a serious concern.

Meanwhile, the government also say that they’ll do everything they can to facilitate and endless number of Ukrainians flooding into the country by giving them medical cards, social welfare and ensuring that they’ve accommodation.
