The Government has been forced to tell Ukrainian refugees to refrain from coming to Ireland this Christmas due to an acute accommodation shortage.
Ironically enough, the Government itself caused this acute shortage by allowing tens of thousands of refugees to pour into Ireland, while thousands of people here were either homeless or struggling to find anywhere to live.
The Government recently tore down tent cities at several locations due to dire conditions for those accommodated there.
