The Government have said they intend to publish a roadmap for the easing of further restrictions by the end of this month.
It is understood that the decision comes after the Cabinet Committee on Covid-19 held a meeting on Friday.
However the Government have warned that any decision on the roadmap of easing restrictions will depend on case numbers and the situation at that particular time.
They added that the continued use of restrictions is currently based on public health advice.
