A Government task force has been setup to decide how a potential Covid-19 vaccine will be rolled across Ireland should one become available.
It is understood that the taskforce will meet later this week to discuss all aspects surrounding the distribution of a vaccine.
The news comes as it was recently revealed that Ireland would receive 2.2m vaccines as part of the EU’s deal with Pfizer and BioNtech.
It is expected that the taskforce will focus on the distribution of the vaccine once it is deemed safe to do so.
