Government to ramp up population replacement of indigenous Irish as O’Gorman calls for thousands of more visas for low-skilled migrants which could also help drive down wages of working class

Minister for Children, Roderick O’Gorman, has announced that thousands more visas could be awarded through a new system for lower-skilled economic migrants the Irish Examiner has reported.

The Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, who is overseeing the provision of care and accommodation for Ukrainian refugees as well as International Protection Applicants said he
wants to broaden the visa system to allow more economic migrants to come here.

“I believe there’s a case for looking at new visa systems for lower-skilled workers.” the the TD for Dublin West said.

This is despite nationwide anger and resistance to imposition of migrant plantations in rural and working class areas.

The issuing of thousands more visas for low skilled economic migrants would also see wages driven down and low skilled Irish workers dramatically undermined.

Aside from pushing down wages a in time when inflation continues to impact the middle and working class issuing thousands of more visas for economic migrants would also add pressure to housing market, already in an unprecendented crisis.

Finally, the demographic makeup of the country continues to change as the government import huge numbers of non-nationals while educate Irish youth are forced to emigrate and young Irish people remaining in the country put off having children due to the housing shortage.
