The Government has today touted a fiver (and some change) a week as the solution for Ireland’s cost of living malady.
Former Taoiseach appointee and current Tanaiste Leo Varadkar today said that people on social welfare will see an increase of €5 (and some change) a week in their handouts from October.
€5 (and some change) would barely get you 2ltr of petrol these days, so it’s unclear how a bunch of coins will help people in any way.
