Graham Dwyer has filed a lawsuit against the State and the Prison Service for damages.
The defendants named in the suit include the Prison Service, the Minister for Justice, Ireland, and the Attorney General.
Mr. Dwyer was charged with the murder of Elaine O’Hara in 2015.
