A new document outlining Fianna Fáil facilitating a minority Fine Gael government could now be ready by the weekend.
This comes as parties are in talks to accept a minority government deal.
The issue of Irish Water staying in public ownership is also forming part of the talks at present as a referendum is discussed. Proposals to reduce water bills for users through further supplements are also a major issue up for discussion.
Fianna Fail stay determined in their position on freezing water charges for a number of years, but a decrease or effective cancellation of bills for users could be a compromise between both sides.
Fine Gael would then be ready to share the new document with a number of Independents as Enda Kenny seeks the support of at least 58 TDs for a vote for Taoiseach. This event is now expected to take place next week.
