Great News: Boy with Autism is found safe and well after getting lost in bushlands in Australia

There was some great news announced on Wednesday, after authorities in Australia confirmed that a teenage boy with Autism was found after being lost in bushlands.

Thankfully 14-year-old Will Callaghan, with non-verbal autism, was found after a widespread search which included hundreds of volunteers.

It is understood Will got lost in the bushlands after getting separated from his family on the summit of Mount Disappointment near Melbourne on Monday.

However despite a widespread search Will was found by volunteerĀ Ben Gibbs who came across will after cutting through thick bushland.

Mr Gibbs told ABC News that when he found Will he talked about a character on one of his favourite shows Thomas The Tank Emgine.

Following the rescue Will’s mother said she was relieved that her son was found safe and she thanked everyone for their help and she is forever grateful.
