Voxpro, LinkedIn and West Pharmaceutical Services will provide Dublin with a massive employment boost of 700 new jobs, announced jobs Minister Mary Mitchell O’Connor and IDA chief Martin Shanahan this morning.
Voxpro provides customer sales and technical support services to technology firms, and is recruiting 400 people at its new office in the Point Village.
The company will recruit over the next 12-18 months, bringing the total number of employees by the company to 2,000 in Ireland.
LinkedIn has created 200 job positions in Dublin as its CEO, Jeff Weiner visited the company’s EMEA headquarters and met with Taoiseach Enda Kenny TD.
LinkedIn began in Ireland in 2010 with only three employees, and has since grown to become one of Ireland’s leading technology employers.
The 200 new positions will expand the team to support ongoing growth in the region, with new roles in sales and sales support, customer operations, and engineering.
West Pharmaceutical Services is also set to create more jobs at its Mulhuddart site in west Dublin.
